Retardation Plates

• Mica Multiple Order Retardation Plates
  Ideal general purpose waveplate, inherently high absorption, the transmittance of these plates is roughly 70-80% and should be used for low power applications only.
   
• Quartz Multiple Order Retardation Plates
  Withstands higher power then mica and can be AR coated to enhance efficiency
   
• Quartz Zero Order Retardation Plates
  Comprised of two optically contacted quartz plates whose optic axes are mutually perpendicular.  They offer the highest degree of retardation accuracy.
