Esco provides a variety of flat mirror substrates. Standard items are supplied front surface-coated with aluminum (AI) overcoated with either silicon monoxide (SiO) or magnesium fluoride (MgF2).

AI-SiO is an excellent all-purpose coating that provides greater than 85% average reflectance from 350-800 nm. For broadband ultraviolet-visible applications, AI-MgF2 provides greater than 85% average reflectance from 200-800 nm. For higher reflectivity or in cases where high laser energy requires the use of non-metallic coatings, Esco provides select off-the-shelf Laser Quality Mirrors coated with all-dielectric (MAX R) coatings for 485/514.5, 532 and 633 nm. Uncoated substrates can also be customized with a variety of MAX R coatings. Order as uncoated and add the desired coating specifications.
